Remember, GBS works with Pathways to Careers ( https://pathwaytocareers.org/ ) and often hires (with working papers) students ages 14-17 to be center assistants. Our center assistants help the therapists gather thing needed for therapy, help set up groups and lunch/snack, help clean up at end of day, preparing materials, etc. If you know a student in a school that works with Pathways to Careers who may be interested in getting some experience with children with Autism in a therapeutic environment, please send them our way! 🙂
(CA’s do not provide 1:1 therapy. but we have had many stay on post graduation to become Therapists!!! It is a great, unique opportunity!!)
