About Us
GBS opened its first center in Lycoming county in 2017
Today, GBS has a center in Williamsport and in Lewisburg, and soon will be opening a center in Lock Haven, Clinton County PA.
GBS has grown slowly to maintain quality over quantity, to focus on staff training, client well being, and results.
GBS approaches therapy and our business differently than other larger companies do, a difference you will see and feel as soon as you walk in our doors.
Our staff, our clients, caregivers–we are a therapeutic family.
GBS Mission Statement:
At GBS, it is our mission to provide a fun, engaging, therapeutic environment for children with autism to thrive, grow and expand their independence in addition to supporting families and providing community outreach programs.

GBS Therapy Dog
Why People Want Us
GBS provides the intensive therapy children with Autism need, in a compassionate, playful, safe, loving environment. Children learn routines, interaction with peers, communication, pre-kindergarten skills, and life skills while at GBS.
We approach children with empathy and meet them where they are at; helping them build skills that will increase independence and useful behaviors across environments. Our day is full of mindful play and interaction, snack, sensory activities, intensive sessions, and music and movement.
GBS is always moving forward, seeking out innovative ideas and ways to engage your child. We have initiated Social Skills Groups for older children, and to address our wait list, we are offering a Telehealth Program with online training, consultant support, and materials for interested and invested parents/caregivers.
What Makes Us Different From Other Therapy Centers?
Our staff thrive on seeing your child happy and laughing. We love watching your child make progress daily.
GBS is not a daycare, we work hard to be a therapy center. We do not do naps, but we are working on skills your child needs for the entire session.
We are data based and not “guessing” if your child is making progress.
We welcome you to come observe, look at your child’s data, and learn with us.
We provide hours that are medically appropriate, we will not keep your child 8 hrs a day, as that may not be a medically appropriate therapy session for your child, that may better describe daycare. Our sessions are max 5 hours, so we keep our focus on therapy, and keep our focus on YOUR child’s GOALS and PROGESS.
Your child is our first priority. You will be contacted if there is ever anything that seems out of sorts or wrong. We value communication.
Children at GBS make progress.
Our outcomes and graphs show this, and there is no denying it!
We have an intensive potty training program that has 95% success rate in less than a week.
We have had a majority of clients enter kindergarten with zero or minimal supports.
All of our clients have shown progress in the first 3 months of therapy.
All of our clients have demonstrated growth in communication and social skills.
We conduct yearly parent and staff surveys, and have positive, amazing feedback!
100% of parents, year after year, feel “safe” leaving their child at GBS for their therapy session.
We are not just a business, but we are a SERVICE, and that is our focus. We have paid onsite training and job coaching. Also, we provide a fun, engaging, therapeutic environment for children with autism to thrive, grow and expand their independence in addition to supporting families and providing community outreach programs.
